Its important to keep up to date with changes going down at google and one way to stay up to date is by bookmarking a few seo news websites and make a point of visiting each one atleast once a week.

I would like to take this time to talk with you about comment posting as a form of seo link building. Comment posting has big question mark over it when it comes to using it for link building purposes, I have read several posts about how google apperantly classes comment posting as spam, this is not true.

Blog platforms like wordpress tried to combat this by adding “nofollow” tags to the comments section so google would ignore the links, comment posting seemed to have died down but it has come back to life with all the “dofollow” blogs being setup.
