Web Browsers Can See Pages Differently Does That Mean Google Does Aswell
If you have been involved in web design and coding then you’ll probably know already that some browsers read code and displays it differently to others. For example when viewing a webpage in internet explorer 7 it might display differently if you view it in internet explorer 6, mozilla 4 etc etc. Each browser works slightly different when decoding a webpage, over time the browsers should start to use a standard compliance making it easier for us coders.
So because the web browsers see pages differently is that the same with the googlebot?
Well the google bot only looks for actual indexable content and aslong as you haven’t tried any cloaking techniques then google will see you site how it should do. Its only when you start cloaking by showing different content to your users to what you show the googlebot.
So to conclude the googlebot sees every site the same and focuses mainly on the actual text within a webpage.
